Steps to Correct Personal Details on the DG Shipping Website:
- Visit the DG Shipping Website: Go to the E-Governance section.
- Log in with your User ID and Password.
- Click on ‘Request for Personal Details Correction in Seafarer Profile’.
- Update the specific personal details you need to correct.
- Upload Documents: Upload a color-scanned copy of your original passport. For simple typographical errors, the passport alone is sufficient. However, for major name changes, attach a copy of the Gazette as well.
- Confirm and Submit: Check the box to confirm that the corrections made are accurate. Be aware that any invalid entries may result in your INDOS being canceled.
- Check Status: View the status of your correction request in the provided tab.

- Do not reply to the email as it s system generated.
- Your CoP can be downloaded from the CoP Checker in the system.

- Visit the DG Shipping Website: Access the INDoS CoP Checker.
- Select Your CoP: From the dropdown menu, choose the specific CoP you wish to download.
- Enter Your Details: Fill in all required information, including your INDoS number and Date of Birth.
- Submit for Verification: Click the “Submit” button. After verification, the certificate tab will open.
- View and Download: Click the “View Certificate” button next to your certificate, then download it.

Refer to the Training Examination & Assessment Programme (TEAP – A) 2015 on the DG Shipping website to ensure eligibility. Make sure:
- Your Master checker is up to date.
- All required documents (Passport, CDC, TAR book) are uploaded.
- Your medical fitness certificate is valid.
- If all is correct, and you still haven t received a response, update your profile through the Grievance for CoP tab and email helpdeskdgs@nic.in
