Placement:- Placement of B. Sc. (NS) of IMU Kochi Campus is very good. 6th Batch B. Sc. (NS)-2021-24 : 62% (Placements is in process) 5th Batch B. Sc. (NS)-2020-23 : 97% 4th Batch B. Sc. (NS)-2019-22 : 84% 3rd Batch B. Sc. (NS)-2018-21 : 91% 2nd Batch B. Sc. (NS)-2017-20 : 92% 1st Batch: B. Sc. Waiting Period:- Waiting period depends on company to company. Normally it is 2 to 3 months.

Training & Wellbeing:- Teachers are very good. Classroom and Library is very good. Hostel and mess is also very good. Most important thing HOD is very supportive.

B.Sc Nautical Science Course Eligibility –

Education Qualification

Courses :
  • B.Sc.(Nautical Science) : ELIGIBILITY(MINIMUM CRITERIA)
Age Limit:
  • Age as on the date of admission on 1st August 2017 shall be as follows:
  • (i) Minimum Age 17 years.
  • (ii) Maximum Age 25 years.
Note:
  • For Scheduled Caste (SC)& Scheduled Tribes candidates (ST)
  • Candidates maximum age relaxation is for five(5) years.
Educational Qualification:
  • A candidate must have passed (10 + 2) Examination/ equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM), with not less than 60% aggregate marks in PCM and with minimum of 50% in English language at 10th or 12th Standard examination.

Registration Process

How To Apply

  • The candidate is supposed to take admission in Indian Maritime University Kochi first, they have to apply for IMU CET Please click on APPLY NOW button below to register for the same. After submission of the online application, the candidate will receive an email with details of the payment for the online entrance test.

After Securing good rank in IMU-CET

ONLINE COUNSELLING

Phase 1

  • All the selected candidates who have been issued with the IMU CET Rank Certificate will be provided with a portal through which they can select the Programme(s) and Campus(es) where they want to take admission.
  • Then candidates have to pay a fee of Rs10,000 as the counselling fee. If the seat is not allowed, then Rs9,000 will be refunded to the candidate. Otherwise, the fee is non-refundable.

Phase 2

  • Based on the Rank, social category of the candidate and the availability of the seat, a seat will be allotted to the candidate from the list of options provided by them.
  • Once the seat is allotted, candidates have to pay the Programme fee of Rs 15,000 to confirm the seat. Remember that this payment will be non-refundable.
